   I started in August too, and we did vitals 3rd from last, leaving NG tube and foley. We start clinicals Nov 3rd. Monday is revalidation day for anyone who failed any skill on first attempt. We can't go to clinicals until we pass all skills.

    I use my fundamentals book the most and even then still not very often except to practice the nclex questions at the end of each chapter. My assessment book and pharmacology book have been used very little.

    We had to do occupied bedmaking and bed bath check off on the same day and we were given only 30 minutes to complete both, with one restart if you realized you had done something wrong. Needless to say, there were quite a few who failed this skill. ...
