i'm a registered nurse in canada and usa. i visited usa many times. few years ago my ultimate goal was to work and live in usa. canada is the best for me specifically metro vancouver. i like the working conditions and universal healthcare.
in order to apply for licensure by endorsement in NY you must be a registered nurse and hold a current licensed card in CA. It takes several weeks for california to send ur NCLEX result.
i prefer a nurse who is competent. it does not matter what nationality the nurse belong as long as he/she works within the professional standards of nursing care.

hospital wont accept you as a volunteer nurse if you dont have a local license. you can not endorse u.s. license for local license and can not practice nursing in the philippines.
is local license required for visa screen certificate? i just wondering why the CGFNS required the june 2006 batch to retake part of the NLE last june.
yes, first they will give you a temporary license, then after few weeks you will receive your permanent license. license is valid for two years and renewable every two years.
