    I work in Newborn Nursery and I love it. It is where I am meant to be and I will be here unless I am thrown out, LOL. I did work in Oncology and Med-Surg and wasn't happy either place. You'll know when you find your fit for sure.

    In our NBN only those with the bands can come in to see a special care baby. Typically, that is Mom and Dad, but sometimes it'll be a Grandmom/Aunt/etc that has the second ID band.

    When you are working, I would keep a medication book with me. Before you go in to give your medications you can look it up. Also, you'll discover that you'll see a lot of the same medications over and over depending on what type floor you are working...
