  1. "The Jesus Factor"

I dont think there are too many nurses that during the course of their care will "hurl a difference of opinion" on a sick/dieing patient. If so, maybe they should find a different profession.
  2. "The Jesus Factor"

As nurses we have all been exposed to the importance of culture sensitivity and it is no different with religion. We should uphold the wishes of the patient, no matter what they are, unless we feel morally comprimised in which case we should request...
  3. "The Jesus Factor"

If you noticed, I was replying to a previous post that asked if a patient or patients family could request a non-christian nurse. I totally agree with your statements and is exactly what I am trying to say. I am there to meet that patients needs, w...

    Point well taken.

I am new to this site, but am proud to say that I just graduated from LPN school and am gearing up to take the NCLEX. I am currently trying to decide on whether I want to go to an LPN-BSN, or LPN-ADN. I have all of my prerequisites and am 37 years ...
  11. Am I selling myself short?

Being that I dont even have a job yet Im not sure how much my input will help, but you know I've always heard that if you are HAPPY at your job you will be better at it and it will be better for you in all aspects! If you love pediatrics then the ch...
  12. New Nurses-Length of Job Search?

Hi everyone. I just graduated from LPN school and hope to take my NCLEX within the next month or so. I know that I want to go on for my RN and most likely BSN, but am not sure of the best route to take. I am 37 years old, so I really dont want to ...
