   There is one big downside that must be evaluated. If this patient would have gone to L&D with a threatened AB, is it really good for her to listen to babies crying all day and night?

9. PACU RN's- what is your visitor policy?

   We will occasionally allow parents to come in with ped patients after the child is stable. But usually when they are awake enough to be screaming, they are DC'd from our PACU. Otherwise, we don't allow visitors.

    I always wear Dockers and a button-down shirt with loafers. Yes, it's a bit conservative but that's how I dress. Now how I ACT is another story....hehe!
