Hi everybody my story is a complicated one to begin I'm a deployed soilder in Iraq right now who was in nursing school. Being in the military and going nursing school was a bad mix for me due to obvious obligations. So the questions is when I get back does anyone know is it possible for a person from IL to challenge the calif PN exam and work at the VA in chicago. I've think read as much literature as I can on it just want a few opinions from others. Any help this soldier would appreciate thanks.

Thanks for the responses. I have one more question about the second semester. You said that the pharm class was hard. I actually have taken one year of nursing school before and have taken pharm for nursing along with a pharm that was a 3 credit course. So my question is the nursing math that was hard or is it drug knowledge and application.

Hi this goes out to gennaver. Sorry it took so long to get back to the forum. I just finished my SRP which means it is for sure that I will mobilized and heading to play in the sand. Right now I am talking with chamberlain to see if this will be a good fit. I have talked to a few active army nurses and they say as long the chief nurse signs off on it and the school signs offs on it then its a go. Of course I know what sounds good on paper might not actually be put to plan. Wish me luck

Hello to everyone. Here is a question that I am hoping a few people could give me comments on. First I am finishing an LPN license this June at the same time I'm a reservist and have just recieved word that I will deploy to Iraq this summer. I have spoken with the LTC in charge and he said to me that he would let help with the medics and nurses since there will be a CSH next to the compound I will be working at. The real question here is does anyone know is it possible to finish a RN program overseas and if so what school to look at. Any response would probably help thanks.

Here's a question that I hope I can get a honest response without everyone getting up set. I'm about to become a LPN and wondering should I finish with a RN or pursue Physician assistant. My interest are in surgery, I also understand their are two different models of practice. But career rise whats the true difference between a NP and PA. Any help and constructive criticism appreciated

Hi I just joined this forum and wanted to know if travel nursing as a team in a RV is possible. Meaning could both me and my wife get the housing money instead of the apt. I would appreciate any response given on the matter.

I do not have a lot of information other than Rush is voting to change their accelerated program. They might actually get rid of their bachelor program all together and go straight to a master program only. It would be a MSN generalist. You would have to have a bachelor already in any field. They vote in May.
