    I did one year of med-surg after graduation and was ready to move on. That is when I went into OB. But I have never regreted all that I learned on the med-surg floor. Go for it, girl:dncgcpd:
  3. Sorry I guess I didn't realize she was a patient. Though I still do not see any reason not to call her Dr.
  4. I see no reason why she cannot be called Dr. if she is not trying to impersonate a licensed physician. Although if she no longer has a license to practice, Why is she on the floor.

    I went into nursing 25 years ago with the idea of doing Peds.. after doing my pediatric rotation at Childrens Memorial Hospital I imagined my children had every disease known to man. Then I did my OB rotation which I had no interest in at that point....
