   they will ask you what specialty you are interested in but you cant switch from unless you have a valid reason why you are switching. I mean it is possible. I love being at the ICU and to maximize my program I prefer to stay and learn. hope that help...

   Yes I did and I'm almost done with the fellowship. It's the best move I made since I really learned a lot and had the best experience/ exposure at MICU.

   i assume that CES was already submitted. I guess it's a case by case basis on how long they process applications. Mine did not take that long, the fingerprinting did though.Just be patient on calling because that's what i did.

   wow! Really, just 8 spots? Good thing I've secured a residency position with another hospital, but I want MDA so bad that I'd drop whatever i have now...of course that is if I get a spot. ?

   i was a graduate from the Philippines as well and I'm licensed here in TX already. Took nclex in November and passed.What is confusing about the fingerprinting process? And yes even with no local license you can apply at TX BON
