I am an RN with 2 yrs experience in SDS specializing in optholmology. I am now wanting to get more experience in other areas such as NICU, L&D, GYN, SDS or PACU. (Keep in mind I am willing to work in any field however these units are very competative and would be more of my desire.) Most of these units want an x amount of years experience before they will hire you let alone consider you for these positions. My question is how do I get this experience if no one is willing to give me a try. Do, I need to shadow the nurses on the units, talk to the managers them selfs, ect. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just wanted to say thanks to this website and everyone on it. I took my nclex rn yesterday for the last time and found out today that I passed. I can't say enough how excited and proud I am. I just wanted to shed some light and hope to those who are taking the test for the first time or repeat test takers. Whatever you do, do not give up. Keep trying and do your best. All the hard studying will pay off in the long run. Best of luck to everyone.

Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." Is this the good pop that everyone indicates that you passed. If, so I am soooooo excited.

I wanted to know from everyone who has passed ncelx rn using these review courses which one is better. Kaplan or Drexel and what you liked/disliked about each one. They are both being offered here for me locally and I can't decide which one to choose. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!

For all of you who have passed the nclex rn. I want to get an opinion, which study review course is better kaplan or drexel university. They are offering the live courses for both in my area and I am not sure which one to take. Can anyone tell me what their experience was like with either one?
    Thanks!

I am studying for the nclex rn. I was wondering if anyone knows or could tell me of any local review courses in my area. (Salt Lake City) I was also wondering if there is anyone in the local area who is also studying for the nclex rn and would like to start a study group.

    Thanks.
