   At the hospital where I work, if you resign and miss a day at work before that date, you lose all sick and vacation pay when you leave. They may want to explain that your last check will not include those days.

   Most of the counties in Southern NJ have Technical Institutes that offer an LPN course. The tuition is nothing like the ones you have mentioned. In Burlington County, the tuition is about $7000 a year and includes books and uniforms.
