   Try Sparks or St. Edwards in Ft. Smith. Also look at the Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville hospitals. Fayetteville is only about an hour from Ft. Smith. Good luck!

   I graduated with an ADN and I believe my nursing school prepared me completely. I am so thankful for everything my professors/clinical instructors did. I didn't realize how great my program was until I got this job. I really couldn't be more pleased.

4. New Grads- What floor where you hired for?

   Stepdown cardiac unit. I hope it'll be a great place to start and eventually get into the ICU. Can't wait to start on July 13!

   No, you are only required to wear your uniform when you go to clinicals and when you pick up your assignments. You cannot wear shorts or jeans at St. Vincent for your lectures though. Good luck to you! I'm starting my second year in the fall.

   I work in a veterinary hospital. I get $10/hr and it's a really flexible job, thanks to my co-workers.

9. New Students: Where is your first clinical experence?

   We had a summer course where we learned basic skills, so next week we will be reviewing those and then the next week we will be starting our clinicals. Mine is at the VA from 0700-1500.
