1. So, what are RN's getting PAID?

   I make 21.00/hr. and feel nurses are greatly underpaid. I work a week-end option job, which pays me for 36 hrs. after working 24 hrs. So I'm actually making 31.50/hr. I couldn't stomach making a penny less!

2. An appropriate hourly rate of pay for a Registered Nurse at the bedside?

   We are worth at least 60k/yr. I feel this would be the median if nurses weren't so willing to accept what admin feels like paying.

   I would get my L.P.N. first. The money's not bad, and a lot of schools will apply it towards your A.S.N. That's the route I took and I'm glad I did. It was the only practical way to go and be able to support my family. GOOD LUCK!
