   A lot of my classmates had the same problem. There aren't many ads in the paper either. I guess there is no nursing shortage in Delaware. I know a lot of the hositals want 1 year of med-surg before they will hire anyone. Good luck with your job hunt!...

   I work weekend alternative, but I agreed to come in tomorrow from 7a to 3p. It shouldn'y be too bad. When you are used to working 12 hr shifts, 8 hrs feels like 1/2 a day. :) Then it's off to Grandma's to eat! :) Lisa

   The longest I have worked is 16 hours. At my hospital you do not have to work 40 hours to receive OT, if you come in to work extra hours while they are short, you receive time and a half. If you have 40 hours in, then you would receive double time. ...
