    Depending on the institution you may be required to do some transport as an NNP. Also, no one says that once you become an NNP you cannot do agency as an RN to get in some bedside care if that is what your heart desires. I know some who do that.

    I am a new NP and had a couple of students in my class who had no nursing experience and one with nursing experience but not in our specialty. They both have had a difficult time getting jobs, unlike the rest of us in the class.

    I just moved from Owings Mills, loved the area. The Metro to hopkins is a plus living there. Towson, Parkville, Perry Hall all nice areas.

    I am a NICU nurse so my answer is NO!!!! No matter how skewed my view is because of my NICU experience, I would be petrified.
  13. Taking an infant's temp.

    Initial temp rectal. Temp underarm after that. If the infant seems to be hypothermic or hyperthermic via an axillary temp we double check with a rectal especially if the infant has other symptoms that tell us they are getting sick.
