Hello I am taking my prerequisites to get into nursing school but I am also trying to make a backup plan. Invade I don't get into nursing right off I am also going to apply to radiology programs. My question is that if I get a radiology tech bachelors and want to go into a nursing masters would I be able to do the masters online or would I have to do it in person for the clinical hours. Honestly I'm okay with either because getting in to the masters program would be a blessing. I just like to map things out as good as possible.
Thank you for your answer. Are any of the online bridge programs legit? I haven't been able to contact any to see if they are accredited yet but I'm skeptical because I'm pretty sure there will be clinical involvement and I don't see how they can do that through a computer screen.
U have heard a little about these programs and was wondering if they could be completed online or do they have to be in person. Frankly I don't see how it would work online unless it was strictly course work and no clinicals. Also how long do they take to complete. Please and thank you for the help.
Thank you for the help
I ask this question because my mother wants to also try nursing school but with taking care of my little sisters and paying bills she doesn't feel she's has the time. I'm trying to convince her to apply with me. She has most of her prerequisites out of the way. If need be we could relocate and I've been trying to pick up some slack around the house. I would like her to get into school before me because I am just starting the prerequisite portion and don't mind taking care of things while she goes to school.
Thank you for the reply. I will try to focus on the now and not to much on the future.
Hello, I am a student whom changed his major from criminal justice and am soon to start my nursing prerequisites this fall and was wondering about the class break downs for A&P 1 and chemistry and far as what I'd be learning. It's getting frustrating because I really want to do nursing and have for a while but I keep second guessing myself with thoughts like "what if I don't make it" or "I hope I don't fail if I get in." Also I will have to retake my general psychology class and am wondering if that will count against me. Haven't had the time this week to ask the school. Thanks for the help!!!
Thank you for the information. You have given me a lot to consider before I take this step. Also would I be able to do the 1 year accelerated program with a non nursing degree if I wanted to be an RN?
Hello I am a 21 year old aspiring nurse and am trying to figure out which path to take. I am currently in the criminal justice program but realized that id rather do nursing. I have heard there are graduate nursing programs that will accept non nursing degrees as long as the holders have good gpa's and good G.R.E scores. Is this true? If so I am debating finishing my criminal justice degree and going into an MSN program instead of going through the traditional route. Also if you know which schools offer the program I would much appreciate it if you could tell me. Thanks in advanced!
