OK whichever day shift, evening shift or night shift. Nurses should be doing their job and helping out instead of wasting time. Thats my entire point. I dont think the shift hate is a good thing at all. Unfortunatly that is just how it is , due to pe...

  10. Night shift vs Day shift: stop the hate

OK I dont work where you work, but I work in assisted living and no matter what time of day it is, or what kind of down time I have, I usually can find something to do at work. There is always something that needs to be done, besides being on the int...
  11. Are you glad to be an LPN/LVN first?

I myself graduated from central in april 2006, class #147. This school is the only school I recommend to people. It is a small school and you get to know the instructors very well. Also it is hard, which is the way you want it that way you remember w...

  14. Taking an infant's temp.

if her peds tells her to do it rectally, he's pretty out of date (my opinion!). i think it can be very dangerous! it is possible to go thru the bowel wall, and that is never good. i work on a pediatric floor in a well known hospital and the only temp...
