   Hi, Sorry youre having such a bad time with this"preceptor". When I started in Dialysis, as a tech might I add..i was paired up with someone for 6 weeks!!! Then once I became a nurse went to a different facility and worked with some old co-workers...

6. How many LPNs IV cert.

   I am from NY and in nursing school they didnt even teach you how to draw blood.....more less how to do IV's..they claim it is on the job training. Luckily I started out at a Trauma 1 county hospital and got to float for 2 weeks with the IV team.

   You will be fine....The night before my 1st day I cried all nite long, couldnt sleep and was running to the bathroom every 15 minutes!! ANd it turned out to be a great day!!! Good luck, and just remember to document, document, document!!
