  1. Is Trinitas School Of Nursing

Everybody is certainly entitled to their opinion... I discourage all friends, and even strangers, from starting this program. It's not the rigor...any high-level career in health care is and should be rigorous. It's the attitude, unprofessional, un...
  2. Well first off, you can fail an exam or two, and still make-up the "points" and still pass. Don't be too discouraged yet. If I remember correctly, the first two exams in 132 are the hardest. They just hit you with twice as much information than they ...
  3. The diploma option is still offered. I don't know why your advisor didn't offer any advise. Sometimes you do have to get to the right person. You should call, and specifically ask about the diploma option. you can transfer all the nursing pre-reqs...
  4. Well, the 132 material itself is not harder than the 131 material. If you understood the 131 material, you have the ability to understand the 232 material. However in 132, they throw 3 times as much material at you...in the same period. Generally s...
  5. well, I haven't been through any other programs, so I can't really compare. But, if I didn't have this much invested in Trinitas, I would go to a different program. I find the faculty in this program to be very unhelpful, and even interested in seein...
  6. Any AP in the summer will be a big challenge. API&II (aside from nursing courses) will probably be the most difficult courses you will take. Lots of memorization required... Only you know yourself, and and what else you are doing concurrently ...
  7. well, my opinion is that is a pretty heavy load. Not completely un-doable, but difficult. As you progress in the nursing program, you will see that 130 was fairly basic, and in hindsight, in fact pretty easy. But that isn't the way it feels when y...
  8. Sorry, I'm really not sure. I would call them directly...
  9. well, generally it's true that you choose to be in the program for either days, or nights/weekends. Day students typically take day lecture and day clinicals. Nights/weekends students take lecture on weekday evenings, (excpet for 130) and clinincal...
  10. Each semester is different, but they do use other hospitals in addition to Trinitas. They also use Rahway, Overlook, and Raritan Bay (Perth Amboy).
  11. Is Trinitas School Of Nursing

what makes Trinitas so bad, is that they are more interested in maintaining their "first try 100% NCLEX passing rate". Meaning, all their graduates pass the NCLEX on the first attempt. This is fantastic if you are one on the 16 folks who graduate eac...
  12. It's true a diploma-only option is offered. All that means is that you don't need to take all the rest of the associate's requirements (non-nursing/non-nursing prereq's) for Union County College. You get to sit for for the NCLEX, and become an RN, an...
  13. Let's bump this thread to the top. Current Trinitas student.... Any questions folks?
  14. Is Trinitas School Of Nursing

If you want to SUCCESSFULLY complete an RN program, I seriously suggest you attend a different school. I am a current student with way too much invested in Trinitas to change, but I would NEVER recommend this school.
