   Yes there is. I have an associates degree in medical assisting and I could kick myself in the the butt knowing that the two years it took me to get it I could've been and R.N. !

   I was thinking the same thing. I went to a private school before and received my degree in medical assisting only to find myself not being able to find a job so I had to go back to my job as a c.n.a.

   No I don't think there are. Most ma positions are 8-5 Mon-Fri. And that's why I can't work as a ma while going to school
