  8. Try signing up for the NCLEX by requesting to be licenced in the state where you went to school. Maybe then your school will be listed as an option. Once you are licensed in one state you can apply for reciprocity.

    Don't take out more than 50% in student loans than you would expect to make during one years salary. For example, if you expect to make 60k as an RN in your area, you should not take on more than 30k in loans.
