Hello! I have 3 beautiful children that keep me going from day to day. I started out as a CNA right out of high school. I felt a passion towards the nursing field and obtained an LPN license. Immediately upon completing my 400 hours of practice, I enrolled in an ADN program. I completed that program in 2001 and went to work. I found a love for psych nursing and really developed myself as a good psych nurse. In 2012, I started the BSN program and then bridged over to the MSN program. Completed both of those programs in August of 2014. I immediately enrolled in to a DNP program and I am expecting to graduate in December 2016. I work psych. Nothing else. My passion is for those affected by mental illness. I have done children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, inpatient, outpatient and crisis stabilization. I am currently in an educator role with the hopes of passing on my passion to others.
