1. Phasing out LPN's?????

   I live in Canada and as far as i know they are hiring more LPNS then RNS in certain areas, our scope of practice is growing so much, we can almost do as much as RNS do. Recently a whole staff of RNS got laid off and they rehired only LPNS. :)

   Hey I'm 19 and an LPN student as well, It is a hard decision if I want to take the RN program after....still unsure! I hope alberta gets some better bridging programs by the time I know what to do. Good Luck and hopefully we do the right thing~ ciao...

   i know many canadian lpns that work in the states. check out your local job fairs and there well be people trying to get you to work for em down south. lpns are just as important as rns nowadays, good luck!
