Anybody ever been "out of the loop" for a while?

I know I've posted other things today. I have one more question for everybody. I am so nervous about going back to work after being out for over a year. On top of that, I may be going back to an LTC med-pass only (only opening in area or nearby) from a outpatient clinic type area where we did everything from endo to chemo, steroid injection/pain clinic, injections/infusions. You get the idea. An LTC is not where I want to be, but I don't have much choice right now. Why am I so nervous? It's not exactly a new type of care facility to me. I feel stuck. Anybody got any advice for having been out of the loop?
