Percodan/Percocet tablets may be crushed
Tylenol #2 and #3 tablets may be crushed
Dialudid/Hydromorphone tablets may be crushed
Morphine Sulfate"STATEX" tablet may be crushed
Oxy-IR tablet may be crushed
Ativan tablet may be crushed
Diazepam tablet may be crushed


NEVER CRUSH oxycodone CR tablets, oxycontin tablets or oxycodone HCL CR tablets, MS contin tablets, Morphine Sulfate ER tablets, aggrenox tablets, alendronate sodium tablet, codeine CR,


May open and sprinkle on applesauce but never crush the beads..Morphine sulfate/M-Eslon/MS-Contin CR capsules...Hydromorphone CR capsules, Hydromorph Contin...aggrenox capsules



what about phenobarbital tablets, prednisone tablets,prochorperazine tablets, coumadin tablet, temazepan capsule, restoril tablets, zopiclone tab, clobazam tablet, clonazepam tablet, codeine phosphate, dimenhydrinate tablet, doxycline hyclate capsule, haloperisol tablet, hydroyzine capsule......

WOOOO!!

If there is a coating on the tablet, it shouldn't be crushed. Some capsules are time released as well, they shouldn't be opened.

Follow common sense, you'll do fine. When in doubt, call pharmacy. You can also call and see if many of the meds you need may come in liquid form. Just a suggestion.
