by 1lanarn Oct 1, '10My administrator has selected one person, (non/nurisng, non/social services, non activities or dietary, no medical background at all) to do all of the MDS 3.0 interviews. She will enter her information directly into the MDS and communicate with all disciplines about her findings. What do you all think of this?
At a recent training we were advised by a state surveyor that this was not an OK thing to do, we returned to the facility and let our administrator know but she has decided to still go ahead with this plan. Wondering what opinions any of you might have. Thanks for any feedback.
