Using code 780.72

by Ruas61

Anyone using this code for better reimbursement? Or just using it in general when applicable?

Default Re: Using code 780.72
Unless your state has specific RUGIII add-ons, functional quad or flaccid quad is NOT Quadriplegia as defined in Section I1z. Section I1z should not be checked. Entering the specific ICD9 has no weight in the RUG calculation.

Use the ICD9 code only when a physician diagnosis supports it.
