MDS at a SNF specializing in Psych Nursing

I have just accepted a position as MDS coordinator at a SNF for older adults with primary major mental illness. While I was told during interview that assessments are not as much as with regular SNFs, I would appreciate if anybody can share their experiences with their position. This is entirely new for me and I am up for the challenge, fortunate enough to have been hired with no MDS experience at all (I've been a supervisor for more than 2 years now at another SNF with pretty comprehensive list of duties). Also, I'd like to get some tips on how you manage your time or anything you do do work more efficiently in this field. Thanks in advance!
