If a patient is on TPN and it is placed on hold for a few days, would you still document 4 and 2 on MDS? Have a patient currently that the tpn was DC'd until further eval. so documenting 0-0 due to the patient on regular diet also. Is this correct?

You would code for what the patient actually received during the lookback period, so if the patient did not receive TPN for the entire lookback, then you would not code it as such.
