RN to BSN vs. Traditional BSN at UMass Boston

I am starting nursing school in the Fall and I am trying to decide between the traditional BSN program at UMass Boston or Massasoit's RN program followed by the RN to BSN program at UMass. It will take me 3 years to complete the program at UMass so I will need to take out loans for around $36K. The Massasoit route would definitely be more cost effective but I don't know if it matters if I end up with a BSN from UMass by completing the traditional program or after getting my RN through Massasoit. Is one degree viewed as better than the other? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
