Woking as an aide after passing NCLEX

Hi all,

Once we pass NCLEX, can you still work as an aide until you find an RN job? We have heard many different things and someone said to check with the Mass BORN but they thought that if you were working as an aide and something went wrong, you would be held to the highest standard you are licensed for--which would be an RN once you pass. Does anyone know for sure? I know there are some who keep working but what are the legalities of it all.

I have heard of some people working as aides after they passed. I think its risky business. My aide job didn't allow it, so I went all summer last year without a job after I passed my boards.
