by DCoffill Nov 19, '12I am a NH Rehab nurse with a year of experience, I will be moving to the northampton area in a few months and would love if someone could help me with some places a nurse may apply. Im not picky, any RN job would be great. Any other info about the area would be great too, like is it considered western MA or central, southern?? Thanks ahead of time.

- Nov 19, '12 by DolphinRN84Hi Danielle! I went to nursing school in Amherst and it is considered Western MA. I know Cooley Dickins Hospital is in Northampton. Also there is Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Mercy Medical Center is also in Springfield. Hope this helps!

There is also Shriner's Hospital for Children in Springfield... it's an orthopedic hospital, not a burn one. Those are the only hospitals in the area I know of... I'm from Boston so I don't know the area west of Worcester very well.
