Regis College RN-BS-MSN Program

U.S.A. Massachusetts

I'm considering the Regis College RN-BS-MS program after I get my ASN next semester. Is there anyone who is enrolled in the Regis RN-BS-MSN program that can give me some information on this program? Is there anyone who dropped out of the Regis RN-BS-MSN program that can give me information on their experience in this program? I've heard that they've experienced problems with their undergrad BSN program in the past with an unusual amount of students dropping/flunking out but haven't heard anything about their RN-BS-MSN program. Anyone know of what their retention rate in this program is?

It wasn't that long ago, but I can barely remember! I know you'll take two classes: psych and acute care (aka med/surg). Each of these has a clinical-- acute care clinicals is two days and psych is one day. I do forget how many days a week the classes are. And you'll still have lab to learn some new skills. Hope that helps! That was 3 years ago, so I'm a little foggy on the specifics!

Hey, thanks for the reply. I'm currently in the day section and I just prefer it. Since it's one of those "first come first serve" format for the schedule, we're all trying to see if we can take a look at the different schedules so we can respond ASAP. You are right though, its 3 clinical days and psych/medsurg. How is it post graduating/what do you do now if you don't mind sharing! Thanks!

Ah I see you were looking for the REAL schedule for the upcoming semester. They usually post it on Regis Access a few days before you are scheduled to register, so that you can plan out your schedule and respond ASAP. I was also in the "day section" and don't remember having trouble staying that way!

I just graduated in May from Regis, passed the PNP boards in June, and I worked as a camp nurse for the summer. Now I'm looking for a PNP job. I've had interviews, but there haven't been a lot of openings in peds just yet. I haven't been looking for too long though.

Good luck with school! It's a bumpy road, but it's so worth it! And Regis prepares you well for the boards!
