New grad salary in Boston hospitals?

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Published

I want to work in Boston after I finish my BSN, and was wondering what entry level salaries are like, particularly at MGH or Children's Memorial or BIDMC? Any ideas? I know NYC starts around 65-75k and was wondering if Boston was just a bit below that?

Any updated information for Boston Medical Center and Tufts?

Thanks!

Hey, nursey face how do u like working at mass general? I am trying to get in there as a pct. I have experience in med surg, oncology, pedi, and emergency. I would love to work there. How is the floors there and is the pay scale good for a pct. I am trying to get into the hospital setting again so when I start my nursing classes next year I can hopefully slide right in as a new nurse. I am thinking bout volunteering at mgh if that would help. U are so lucky to work there. I actually was a patient there last week. I was an inpatient on the cardiac floor I had the hole in my heart repaired. I have the best cardiologist there. That hospital had such a positive impact on me. Thought I would just ask u bout it though. Thanks

Would anyone care to update this thread with up-to-date new grad salary information on all Boston hospital along with any rehab and community hospitals? It's nice to be able to have this data current. The salary rates listed in this thread go back to 2008.
