Hi everyone!!

Quick question -- I had a call from the admissions office this morning as apparently you are not supposed to apply to multiple campuses (campii??) -- oops!! So now I have to decide between applying as a Year-2 transfer student to the Boston-based ABSN or to the Worcester standalone ABSN.

Boston makes sense for me georgraphically, but does anyone know about differences in labs/ resources? Clinical placements? Competitiveness getting in? Faculty?

Advice???

THANK YOU ALL!

I'm a student at the Worcester campus. I wasn't even aware that they offered a ABSN program at the Boston campus, I thought Worcester or Manchester were the only options. That would have been good to know a year ago lol!

I really like the program I am in! I still actually have a lot of clinical placements in Boston, its all kind of luck of the draw. To my understanding all of the campuses kind of place you anywhere within an hour of where you live. The teachers are all amazing, and the labs are very nice. My favorite teachers also teach at Boston and Manchester.

I'm happy with my choice. I live closer to Boston but I'm going in the opposite direction of traffic which probably results in a shorter commute at the end of the day. I think the Worcester program would be a little less difficult to get into just because of location, but I might be biased because I love Boston lol. I just know Boston is a really popular choice for students, and Worcester tends to have lesser reputation if you know what I mean? If you have the opportunity to look at both schools I totally would to help finalize your decision?

Thanks Ellaballet! I went to an info session, turns out Worcester was the right way to go (I already have a degree) so after speaking with the admissions advisors on both campuses, I'm in that applicant pool. Just waiting on the last few pieces of paperwork for them to make a decision!! **fingers crossed**
