I really need a CNA job

I live in Lowell, MA and I don't mind driving up to 40-50 mins. I really need a job as a CNA, but I can't find any. My license expires on 08/13/2013. I know I have plenty of times, but I gotta start now since it isn't easy. If your nursing home, etc are hiring, let me know. Also, gotta make sure they're hiring new CNAs 'cause most won't hire new CNAs.

I'm working as a home health aid, I booked my state exam 3 months ago, passed the written test, showed up late for the clinicals because my patient/body wasn't ready on time, now I'm too lazy to reschedule...I hope that if I get into an LPN program I can apply in nursing homes/assisting livings

Aw! The clinical isn't that bad. I am very shy and quiet and I passed. I really need a job as a CNA so I don't have to retake the course or the state exams, not sure how this works. I'm applying for the BSN degree in nursing. I haven't been accepted yet. I only applied for one university, ha ha. I gotta apply for more, but I am broke to pay the application fee ;\

Looool ''if you can't afford education , try ignorance'', dont remember form who the quote is. You can google now hiring CNAs in Lowell within 10-20 miles and just apply online/in person to all what google will show u...good luck

Thanks! I will do that. It just that most companies are hiring experienced CNA.

Did you get my PM?

Did you find a job?

Did you find a job?

Not yet. Also, does anyone know how I can keep my license? Is it true that I have to work for 6 hours to keep my license? Does it have to be at a nursing home, hospital etc? My friend has someone that I can care for 6 hours.. lol.. it may not work that way ;\

Is there other way to prevent retaking the course? I don't mind retaking the state exam.

I feel like I won't find the job. I am focusing on keep my license 'till I find one, but it expires soon.
