Does anyone know what is going on with them extending the deadline for applicants for the full time program till May 15th??? Were there not enough applicants?? I don't want to have to wait until June to hear back, when I already got my application in before.

So how does everyone feel after orientation today?? I have to admit I'm a little sad it's over, and that we don't get to register until July lol. Plenty of stuff to do in the meantime to keep myself busy though! Next on the list is CPR certification!

Lol, now I am just anxious about my registration meeting on July 11th! You are right, there is plenty to do to keep myself busy. I am off to the Doctor now to get my physical and vaccinations. Plus I still need to buy books, find a job that will work with the school schedule and now try to scrape together enough money to take Micro during the Summer 2 session!

Me too! Not really looking forward to taking micro in 5 weeks, but it's better than having to take it along with the nursing class!

Anyone start buying their books yet? I been looking it looks like one or two of them digital books, anyone know if that's accurate?

I haven't purchased any yet, but I have a Nook and 3 of them were available as an ebook. I'm not sure if I'm going to go that route or not though

I did not notice that. I purchased a couple of books so far. None that I have looked up have been ebooks only.

I see that the Davis Drug Guide book is only available as a digital copy but I found a physical copy (with CD and stuff) on Amazon for cheaper.

Actually, I found almost all of the books on Amazon for cheaper and only got 2 of the books from the bookstore. Hopefully they come with the supposedly included CDs and access codes!

Keep in mind that a couple of the books on the list are not/were not published yet. The Davis Drug Guide was published on 6/15 which might be why it was hard to find the physical copy. Mosby's Drug guide does not get published until July. We only need to choose 1 of the 2 Drug Guides.

So far I have purchased 6 of the books online and all of them have been cheaper than the book store. I highly doubt I will be purchasing any of my books from there....

OMG....Some of these books are so heavy!:eek: What a workout it will be to carry these around. I have to go tomorrow and register for Microbiology.... I just found out today that I still had some student loan money available to use for the Summer 2 session:yeah:

I am hoping to take the evening lecture but the 1pm-5pm lab on thursdays so that I can also take Intro to computers which is tues and thurs 6-10pm. (I need to take 6 credits minimum in order to use the student loan money and the Intro to Computers class I took years ago has expired. So 2 birds 1 stone lol) If I can get into both classes, I will probably hate myself for the entire month and thursday will be atrocious, but it will be worth it!
