Hello Mass folk

So I know this is the Massachusetts board, but I have some information about CCRI,

and since we are neighbors, I thought I would pass it along. For the record, I live in

Mass, but go to school at CCRI and am starting the nursing program in Spring 2010.

I got official word today that the waiting list at the CCRI campuses is completely gone and

they are now solely Performance Based.

An admissions officer told me today that they are having a hard time getting enough

applicants to even fill the nursing classes for next Spring.

He also told me they are about 90% sure they are going to have another open

enrollment period this October for more students to apply for the Spring.

Don't know what everyones situations are with their schools and waiting lists, but

depending on where you live, CCRI might now be an option if you meet their pre-reqs

and have competitive grades.

Again, just thought I would throw this out there. Please do with it what you will.
