BSN vs. MSN in Boston?

U.S.A. Massachusetts

I'm currently in LPN school, I will be finished in Dec. I would love to go on to become an RN. I'm wondering for what I want to do, which would be a better option, I would love to teach CNA's or LPN's PT at one point or another and I would love to go into psych nursing or ER in a bigger hospital in boston. Which route do you think I should take? Also right after LPN school we're going to start trying to concieve is all this possible with a new baby? Sorry for so many questions :p I'm just excited and about everything, I'm finally accomplishing my dream!!!

Seeing as you will finish with your LPN, I would suggest getting your BSN. Your BSN will take around 4 years... and MSN is longer than that. You can def work in boston in an ER or psych with your BSN, they usually do not take ADN's.

I would suggest getting into a ADN program, that would only take you an additional year . After that, you can work as an RN while getting your BSN (online at UMass Boston) - Its much more cost effective this way.
