Thx. No it just says that they had an extremely high number of applicants and that the process is very competitive because they only have a limited amount of resources. But that they will hold the application for one year and for the next admissions cycle in which everything is due on April 1st. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear that you didn't get in. Congrats on being accepted to your other programs, both are great schools. I was told 263 applied & they accepted 60. Still waiting to hear, hopefully today...

Good luck to you!

Very tight turn around - has to notify them of intent by the end of next week.

Does everyone already live in the Amherst area? Does anyone have any suggestions for resources to find available rentals? I have been viewing craigslist, just wondering if there are any other places that I may want to look. Also any suggestions on what town to live in/not live in. How far out should the maximum search area be?

thanks

I am in the same situation & don't know much about the area. I looked on the UMass housing website b/c they provide housing resources for both apartments and roomate finders. Do you know if the orientation will be held on the 15/16?
