It was definitely a busy first year. I'll send you a private message so we can chat.

I called UMass Amherst about the Second Bachelor's program. The administrator told me that the letters would be mailed on October 15. The wait is killing me!

I know what you mean, I have been stalking my mailbox daily! I guess we should get an answer by early next week-not soon enough. Do you know how many people applied & how many are accepted? I know the website said last year it was 200 & 50 were accepted, but I figured it would be higher this year. Have you applied anywhere else? Good luck & keep me posted if you hear something.

I am waiting to hear if I was accepted as well. I feel like the mail man is giving me wierd looks, because I wait for him to arrive everyday. At least now I know that the letters will be sent on the 15th. That provides a little relief. Thank you!

Hi. I am sorry to jump in on this convo but I am very interested in this accelerated program also however I need some of the prerequisites, specifically growth and development throught the lifespan. Does anybody know where I could take that course? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks

What area do you live in?

I'm pretty sure it is offered at most community colleges.

Thumbs up Re: UMass 2nd degree BSN program
Mowski 1214

The following schools offer the course online. You will have to check to make sure the program will accept it.

Weber State University offers an online version of the Human Development course
http://wsuonline.weber.edu/Students/degrees/default.asp

Also, the University of Phoenix Online offers this course.

It is also offered online at QCC, you can check out their website www.qcc.edu to see when it is next offered. I know this one is accepted at UMass. Good luck!
