Hello! I just received my acceptance package to STCC for the fall of 2009. I am kinda shocked I actually made it in! Just wanted to see if there were anyone else on this forum who got in.

Congrats you two!!!!!! They will send along more information and probably have an info session over the summer where you'll get a book list and recommended readings for the first 2 weeks of class.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Thanks Kat! You might regret offering to have me ask any questoins. I am full of them already!

I will just start with one now.

Do you get to pick all your labs and classes and even clinicals. Reason why I ask because I would like to be able to have the evening one possibly!

Classes are Thurs and Friday 10:10-12. Labs are during the day on Wednesdays they have 3 sessions that day, Thursdays before and after lecture and Fridays before lecture. They did offer a night clinical but you have to sign up with your preference and they go by the sign up sheets (usually).

Hey alphadog I am not able to send private messages yet. I didn't want you to think I was ignoring your message. I hope you hear from them soon, I know the wait is killer! This is actually the first time I applied to the program completely. I did apply out of high school, but obviously had no chance not having any of the prereq's done.

Thanks for your reply.
I wonder if all the letters of acceptance go out in one big batch or if they do it in groups.

I don't know. Maybe they go out in groups, as they make their decisions. I'm sure it must take awhile to go through all the applications. Some of these older threads say they got their acceptance letters around the 15th of April last year.
