RN(BSN/ADN) schooling for an LPN

I Need some Honest opinions/thoughts on what is better. I recently became an LPN in July of this year and am currently working in a pedi office as my first new grad job. I have always wanted to become a RN but had to do the LPN route because of the wait list for the RN program. My question is should I begin a 3 year bridge program at a state university or wait 1 year and apply to the ADN program? What is the difference between the two? Do staff nurses as RN-BS get payed more in the long run?
Thank you.

Most Boston hospitals give a very little differential ( like $10/week). The big difference in some Boston hospitals you can not get a job without a BSN. So if you want to work in Boston get a BSN.

I dont really have much advice for you, but yes PP is right. Most Boston hospital wont even look at you if you are ADN. I am going it in steps, myself. I am an LPN, and I am going to do an LPN-RN and then ADN-BSN. But, I have children, so financially, this is why I have chosen this route. It was quicker for me to get my LPN.
