Just came back from the mailbox..and I passed!!!! Oh Thank God!! 1 bridge crossed...1 to go.....

I cant help feel very happy but very overwhelmed...a cna is put on a waiting list? and I have no experience...well not for medical..dental ya but that was years ago....... I am getting my stuff together now...and calling tomorrow for my interview.... oh wow..... i am so excited...my score though..it is really confusing...i dont think i got very high but....i guess i dont know how to read it...I really wish it was much higher....but whatever I passed!!!!!!!! and not for nothing waiting list is very good coz honestly i can almost gaurantee a lot of people wont pass in the money on time....not even sure how to do this resume....so much to do!!! but ya....i too am praying...and now just a little more harder!!!

Yay JMarie - all that studying paid off. I didnt know how to read the score either but I just assumed that the Composite Percentage is what they go by - mine was 91% in the 99th percentile! I scored 100% on the math part - I am shocked and overwhelmed and it was worth all the studying. I have no idea what the ERI standard score is though. I was up til 2:00 AM last nite because I just didnt know what to do with myself. I refuse to get too excited because I have no experience either in the health field so I am hoping that my letters of recommendation will suffice. I have never done my resume because I have been working in a family business for 20 yrs. I am going to call tomorrow morning to set up the appt for next week. Let me know when you have your interview. I will be trying not to throw up until mine is over!!!!!

I just faxed in form for 1 trascript then tmrw to get other transcript and birth certificate. I have to write my resume get my letters of recommendation.... honestly I feel I will get put on a list if not at all..My composite is not that great I got a ...gulp.... 66 composite in the 71 percentile....not a good score..it is like ya i passed but I am sure they will be looking at your NET score to decide as well... Gotta think positive.. I am not getting excited honestly until I hear back from the interview.. I too am calling tomorrow to schedule and hope to the heavens I get my transcript in the mail in time.. My last course I took A&P2 I got an A so a health related course and a really good score... I am gonna need all the help I can get!!!!!

Susan i think you will be fine.....honestly with a score like that I would be shocked!

I am wondering if we all took NET too late and all spots are filled and so then everyone else that they like will be put on a waiting list...and I am confused if someone quits by December you take their spot? But what about those months of missed info and clinicals??? ok well....ive been good at keeping myself occupied and now the stress has reset itself!!! EEKS!

JMarie - 71 percentile means you did better than 71 percent of the people who took the test - thats great! I dont think the score counts that much - I think its the grades and experience. I wasn't planning to fax anything....I was just going to bring it for the interview - do we have to have all the items there before the interview? If so Im gonna have to schedule mine for next Fri if possible.

I called today ..left msg...he called me back.. next week is all booked he said ( ya that made me feel better hahaha) so monday june 29th at 12pm.... gulp...honeslty how nerve wracking!! When is yours sawyer???

OMG....I was too busy at work to call. I will have to call first thing monday morning.....but I am freaking about him being all booked next week.....I hope they wait until everyone is done interviewing before they make their acceptances. I am gonna try and chill this weekend and not stress....I will be thinking positive thoughts for the 2 of us and Prisi. Have a great weekend!

JMarie - just got my interview scheduled......next Tuesday the 30th at noon - he said that was the last day they were accepting interviews. Now I have 8 days left to panic!!!! How are you coming with all of your paperwork? I still am waiting for my letters and Ive got my personal statement somewhat composed in my head!

Cant help buut wonder does he only do 1 interview a day? Wouldnt that be awesome! ya ya keep dreaming i know!!! LOL

Ok so I just picked up transcript from 1 college today I have ones from high school I am waiting for last one to come in.....

Lets see I still need 3 letters of recommendaiton but know who I am going to ask so that will be easy ( none medical though and that stunks but owell) umm...what else ..Oh I picked up my notarized birth certificate a state away! umm...oh ya the essay I have the next 2 days to do that so I am on the right path!! You sound like you are almost all set too! Awesome! 1 more week....and then i STILL wont know!!! ughhh LOL

Just a thought,,,,out of my many that I have...lol.....

I wonder if they read the essay right in front of you....
