Prisi - Thanks for the info - I knew it sounded too good to be true - I thought rolling admissions meant you could start the program anytime. I do not have years to wait on a waiting list. Any word from GLTech?

Keke - Tell us how the scrub fitting was when you get a chance!!!

Erindel - its good that you can wiat - I hope you get in for 2010 - can you take some classes in the meantime so you wont have such a heavy load when you start the program?

Hi sawyer, I actually already took my prereqs except for micro so I am literally just waiting. I could of got in on the day program but I work and would have nobody to watch my daughter during the day. I heard northshore cc has a good lpn program. Hopefully all u guys can find a program to get into without having to wait a full year. I know it stinks waiting believe me.

North Shore CC is literally right down the street from where I live. I guess if I dont get into GL Tech I will apply at NSCC for Fall 2010 - but it is also very competitive. I feel like Ive already waited for 20 yrs so I dont want to wait any more!!

Hi guys.

If GLT doesn/t work another option to try is St. Josephs in Nashua, NH.

Hi, I live near northshore cc too.... I also know the soldiers field home in chelsea pays for your lpn training if u agree to work for them I believe for a year. They are a long term care facility. U should check that out too.

Hey Keke...how'd it go at the scrub fitting - where there a lot of people there?

Erindel - If I dont get into GLT this year I'm going to re-apply to it for next year along with NSCC. Maybe even the soldiers home in chelsea - but I cant find any info on it online - any hints where to look?

Prisi - I left my message today - have you heard anything yet?

hi =)
I haven't heard anything from anyone at the school yet. I'm gonna go ahead and just make plans for this year as if school isn't going to happen and apply again next year. I do still have a little bit of hope but I dont wanna set myself up or anything. You have to be realistic in cases like these.
I did some research on Soldier's Home in Chelsea but because of the economy they're not open this year! That's why there's no links for it online. I called them earlier and found out. And St Joseph's in Nashua is a two year PN program - yeah right. Might as well just go for RN if it's going to take that long!
Every else is basically booked until next year...so as much as it sucks to have to wait, we have to wait. Best bet is to just apply to as many places as possible for next year...had I known that a couple of months ago maybe things might've been different.

Hi guys, I did not know the soldiers home closed. I have 2 friends I work with who graduated from there last year and they said it was a good program wow everywhere u look there is no quick availability. What about northern essex cc lpn program? I'm not sure of anywhere else except for expensive career schools.

Hi everyone! I am new to this site, so I'm hoping that I'm going about this right. I've been an LNA(NH) since 2007 and I was accepted into the GLTS LPN evening program. I'm anticipating that I can get to know some of you who will be attending :-)

Hi guys..........I just got a call from GL - apparently the program is full - all 80 slots are taken. The one thing that held me back was my lack of experience and that I have taken no college science classes. He did say since I did so well on the NET he could waive it for the next time I apply but would still have to get updated letters, resume & interview again. So I guess I will try again next year and in the meantime get some experience.

He did say if anyone drops out before the program starts, they will go to the waiting list and take the most qualified from the list. But I am giving up hope for this year and will apply again next year. Prisi & Jmarie - let me know what you guys are gonna do.
