opening letter today...it is thin.. ill keep ya'll posted...

its a waiting list for me as well...i really feel like i knew that is what is was going to be but cant help but be very disappointed and sad at the moment.....oh god i hope i get that phonecall.... good luck sawyer and prisi i hope the same for you as well....

Jmarie - I am disappointed too but we cant give up hope yet. Wait list is better than rejection. Maybe it is a sign that the 3 of us are waitlisted and we all post here! Maybe we are destined to meet in person at nursing school (grasping at straws here) Just keep on thinking positive and wait for that phonecall.

Oh and if that guy you saw with no personal statement got in just because he had experience....welll that just makes me p*ssed!

I am still thinking good thoughts for the three of you and hoping that you receive that call soon.

ya keke..no new news over here... i believe she aid the 9th but sawyer if you still check this thread can you just confirm that...there is still a little hope...

Hey guys...I am just assuming the 9th because thats when the seat reservation and deposit is due...so maybe we will hear by July 10th if there are any empty spots. we also dont know how many are on the waiting list. But I still have hope but my enthusiasm is waning.

Well goodluck to u girls and I hope u all get off the wait list. U deserve to start ur classes together and remain friends until u achieve ur goal of getting your lpn. Fingers crossed.....

No news either way as of today, Friday the 10th. What about you girls - prisi, jmarie - anything? I also assuming that he would call because the wait list letter said "if anything changes you will hear from me personally" but I guess that could mean another letter too. I just hope they let us know either way and dont keep us hanging on.

Do either of you guys have a Plan B if you dont get into GL Tech?

Hey Sawyer- Ya nothing...here is my plan b.... getting the books and gonna ask what the homework assignments are from ppl that have gotten in... Then take test first day its offered in December coz we are more apt to get in if we apply earlier...then i will have done the work and it wont be neary as stressful... Thats all I can do...I can also have a little more time to save up some money coz I was definately going to have to get a loan... Have to keep positive...am also going to see what I can to get some recent medical background like get first aid and cpr certified...and maybe work in office as receptionist even if it is like a few hours a week if possible...

So that is all we can do is just apply earlier next time and prep for course even though we are not even in it yet...and try to add something healthcare related on our next resume...
