    hi grey lady. i have one prereq, microbio, that i am finishing up this semester. i have well above a 3.0 for my science gpa, but i was wondering if i get a b- and get accepted, if they will revoke the acceptance. i know that you must receive a b or higher, but does a b- count?

    I don't know - that is a question for admissions.

    Hi Grey Lady, I am not sure if this is a question you are able to answer or not. Basically, I have finished all of my pre-reqs for the BSN program and submitted my application, however I am taking classes this semester at Towson as a Bio major because I wasn't sure if I would be accepted into a BSN program (however, I recently found out I was accepted at Towson) and wanted to just finish my BS in Biology... I really would love to go to Maryland, but if I am accepted do I still need to get Bs in the classes I am in now even though they are not pre-reqs for BSN? If you are not sure, do you have an e-mail address where I could direct this question? Thank you

    Do you think the storm will delay admissions decisions and phone calls? Everything in the state seems to be closing today and tomorrow.

    I am pretty sure they mean it when they give you an offer which is provided you get Bs in your remaining classes whether they are prereqs or not. You should check with admissions. Or just get Bs.

    I do. UMB was closed Monday and Tuesday. All that missed work has to get done. But they will start as soon as possible, I promise. Hope your phone number is up to date.

    Happy November! Hope everyone wasn't too affected by Sandy! It sounds like Baltimore got hit hard.

    I am registering for a CPR class through the AHA and was wondering if anyone else had recently registered. I think the course we need is called "BLS for Healthcare Providers", but wanted to double check with other students registering just to be 100% sure this is the right one.
