- Nov 30, '10 by kGa_PeachQuote from Grey LadyThanks Grey Lady, your posts have been so helpful! That's exactly what I was wondering- I watched y'all get hit with those snow storms last year and wondered if that was typical.I don't know anything about cars but, generally, Baltimore and the Washington, DC area experiences mild winters. We are not Boston! Last year's "Snowmaggeden" was historic. I have lived here since 1970 and we only get snow like that once or twice a decade. And when we do, everything shuts down - NOBODY moves for a while. Also, if you will be a Baltimore student, public transportation there is pretty good. Not so here at Shady Grove in Rockville, I am afraid.
- Dec 1, '10 by JStollRNQuote from luvly189I'm glad I am not the only one...I actually broke down and called UMB on Monday and she said it could possibly be another two weeks before the admission status is changed to either a rejection or acceptancesame here with "commitee ready"...this is rediculous

- Dec 1, '10 by 2012gradTo all of those still waiting.... The deposit for the BSN program is due Thursday for most students and I would bet that some will not pay on time or have accepted other offers already. Those few will probably be cut from the list by next week and more spots will open up for you! Best of luck.

If i were you, i would not give the car up just yet - you may end up needing it. - Dec 1, '10 by JStollRNQuote from bmorerachelThanks bmorerachel...I don't care either way at this point! I just want a decision so I can move on and stop wondering! To all of those still waiting.... - Dec 3, '10 by SBW4RNMy status has been changed to Provisional-Admit Confirms.
So I think applicants next on the waitlist should hear soon. - Dec 4, '10 by cookiemonstressHey sewnew,
Thanks for the info again! When it comes to tuition,do you (or anyone else here for that matter) know how they expect it paid i.e. do they want everything upfront,or do they allow installment plans? And if you don't pay everything straight away, will they kick u out mid-semester,or will e.g. a hold be placed barring future registration?
Any insight on this would be tremendously appreciated?
- Dec 4, '10 by sewnewQuote from cookiemonstressNot sure about the installment plans. I know tuition is due the first day of class and then they will charge you late fees after that. I know holds are placed on delinquent accounts, but I am not sure if they will kick you out of class. That seems kind of drastic to me.Hey sewnew,

Here is the phone number for UMB student billing. Perhaps they can give you some answers on Monday.
