after looking at the application I was confused on what application type to select is it the "RN to BSN"? Or something else? I did not see a BSN option

Yeah I emailed admissions the other day to try and find out when the application might become available. It should probably just say "BSN" since RN-BSN is different. Which prerequisites do you have left to finish?

Omgosh I just emailed them lol thanks for letting me know as well
I feel like I pretty much have to take everything well, all the core courses. Currently I'm in Microbiology and Biostatistics (hopefully that counts). Next semester I'm taking Human Anatomy and Physiology, these are two separate courses but they count for AP I&II. Then I should be done. I'm regretting not taking these courses at a CC over the summer:/ However, I'm working really hard in hopes to raise my GPA.
    How about you?

I don't think biostat is a requirement but you can probably use the to fulfill an elective requirement. I'm just so over prerequisites and ready to move on to the nursing program lol. I'm in my 7th semester at CC and I've gotten basically all of my classes out of the way. I'm taking nutrition this semester and next semester I need two more electives. Have you taken TEAS yet?

Yes my sentiments exactly, I can't wait to be done! I plan on taking them in January because I'll have more time on my hands. Is this school your first choice?
  9. by ConMetas
Yup.I went to an open house there last year and loved the school, and of course because it's a great program. also plan on applying to Towson though. You?

Yeah its top 5 on my list. I'm not from MD I live in NJ so most of the accelerated programs I've been looking are in my area. However, I'm also looking at schools in the Tristate area because most of them are cheaper then the schools here.

    Hi guys

I'm applying for fall 2017! This semester I'm taking Anatomy, microbiology, sociology of public health, and organic chemistry (which is a pre-req for University of Delaware, where I'm also probably applying). This is my 5th semester working on pre-reqs.

UMD is my top choice, but like I said, I think I may also apply to University of Delaware.

Really excited to "meet" some fellow applicants. What was the open house like, ConMetas?

Hey Lulu welcome. It was really nice and informative (it was an information session not open house,my bad). We got to hear from different faculty members as well as current/former students. They also told us what the typical schedule would be like for each semester (i wrote it down but threw it out which I regret. I'm always cleaning out papers smh). They even told us that they had a 100% pass rate for the fall semester that year, which was last year.

Our RN to BSN program is for nurses who are already RNs but are associate degree or diploma nurses and want a BSN. The fall 2017 application will go up once the spring 2017 BSN applicants are processed. That should be sometime in November. The deadline for applying for fall 2017 is February 1. RN to BSN applications are received on a rolling basis.

Has the rn - bsn program for spring 2017 been filled yet ? I'm asking since you said it was based on a rolling basis.
