Has anyone else applied?...what were your TEASE scores?

Honestly - telling you are exact GPA's, histories, and TEAS scores is not going to tell you much at all - i can say that we all had at least the min requirements that UMB SON states that one needs to apply.

Student4Life (along with others) have tried to figure who all is going to get in based upon GPA, TEAS/NET, history a few different times and is never able to get it all right - there is no perfect formula. Going back to my first UG and comments i heard from many college requiters - they are looking for motivated well rounded indis. I know of people that were perfect on paper w/ GPA and NET/TEAS scores and have not gotten into UMB, but have else where. Do your best in classes, show up to open houses and make sure that your essay stands out and breathe deeply - that is all that i can/will say as far as the "formula" of getting in to UMB SON.

Thanks for the shout-out!

I did manage to get a pretty good look into the GPA's and test scores of the Spring 2011 class, but that really didn't help me at all (although I really appericate all the AN members that took the time to give me their data).

What I did find was that there was no perfect candidate, there was also no just barely over the minimum candidate. UMB has a system that cannot be solved by past performance, there is no set goal.

It frustrated me to no end to ask an admissions rep at an open house or transfer day for insight on what GPA I should go for, only to hear "the best you can in response" (being still a little wet behind the ears from my last deployment, I was very much used to clear cut goals, and since I couldn't get a "get this grade and youre in" I made my own goal). I am accepted but I haven't met my goal yet, but with a bit of luck I should by mid-May.

Anything above a 3.0 gets a look, the higher you get the better, but not necessarily the better your odds.
