Scholarships Available for RN Programs in MD?

  1. I have been accepted onto an RN/ADN program at a MD community college. I had a 4.0 GPA in highschool, and I have a 4.0 in all my general education courses, all of which I have completed, and hope intend to keep my 4.0 through nursing school. I am just financially challenged as I do not have any parental support whatsoever.

So my question is: does anyone know of any SCHOLARSHIPS for a smart student in my position who has little to none financial support. (I already get a good pell grant, but that's besides the point). And I am not a foreign student, so I should be eligible for anything in that regard.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thankfully the tuition at CCs is minimal and with most nursing programs you are able to apply for your CNA license after the first semester so you could have some income and experience by working in the field. Congratulations on your school acceptance.
